OVERVIEW
The VT Conference is an opportunity for teachers and administrators currently engaged with the ideas associated with Visible Thinking, a Culture of Thinking, and Artful Thinking to come to together to share their ongoing efforts, insights, questions, and struggles in a collaborative setting.

The principle goals of the conference are to:
  • Share examples of VT and the use of routines across sites and settings.
  • Explore the cultural forces of language, environment, routines, time, expectations, opportunities, relationships, and modeling as leverage points for creating a culture of thinking.
  • Discuss strategies for collecting evidence of change and progress at student, teacher, and school levels.
  • Identify needed support mechanisms for teachers, administrators, and schools interested in deepening this work.
  • Learn effective practices from other teachers and administrators.
  • Share research findings and current Project Zero work on VT.
  • Establish individual, school, and group goals for the future of VT.
  • Build lasting relationships across sites.
