Mission statement

My mission is to dedicate my professional career to assuring that all children, regardless of their faith, economic condition or national citizenship, can be provided with a life-long, transformability-based educational opportunity, and that families can be helped to nurture their children and support them throughout that experience.

I am committed to the goal of becoming a leader in that effort and to encouraging others to regard the role of school leadership as one that creates a stimulating and empowering learning environment for all children and their families. As a leader, I will aspire to rely on the principles of democracy, tolerance for dissenting views, and the production of outcomes that are sensitive to, and respecting of, the culture in which those children and their families live.

My mission is based on a personal value system that is predicated on trust, honesty, openness, interdependence, consensus-building, and maximizing human potential. My guiding methodology is rooted in the tenets of Action Learning and "Real World Research."

My immediate goal is to better prepare myself for my long term effort by devoting my energies to the Doctoral Program, under the guidance of Dr. Waynne James, my Supervisor and Chair at University of South Florida.

The School - Lemshaga
All children are unique individuals who develop in their own ways. Because their character and response to learning are already established before they start school, children need our help and support from very early age. By giving children an educational experience in which opportunities are provided for them to assume greater responsibilities and also greater freedom, we stimulate children's willingness to learn. I also want to motivate children to think of education as a lifelong process.

My efforts began on a local level in my community, but in a short time I had the opportunity to reach an international audience. I believe that in the role of an "informed visionary" I can better serve as a catalyst for those educational reformers who might wish to benefit from my experience and network liaisons.
