The picture
This is a picture of me when I was in New York. I was there with my family during the christmas break, because my mom had to work there.
On the picture I´m standing in a roof-top bar, and it´s christmas eve.
Behind me you can see New York by night. The large building behind me is a pretty famous building called "Empire state building". Empire state building is nowadays the highest building on Manhattan. It only took a year to build and it was finished 1931!
While I was in New York I did a lot of things. For instance, I went to a rock and roll musical on Broadway, and I also went to another roof, which is called "Top of the rock" and that is the roof of the Rockefeller Center building. And of course I went to see Times Square and that was really awesome!
As you can see on the picture, the top of Empire state building is green and red, and that´s because it´s christmas. You see, the top of Empire state building changes colour in the evening depending on if it is a special day, But the usual colour i white.
